Smiles 4 Miles is a public health program aiming to improve the oral health of pre-school aged children.
It is a supported, locally responsive program that aims to prevent disease by reducing risk behaviours & directing high risk children to priority public dental services. The Smiles 4 Miles program is based on a model provided by the Health Promoting Schools Framework, which promotes lifelong learning, health and wellbeing through the integration of: curriculum; ethos and environment; and partnerships and services.
