MI Centre Day Program provides opportunities to all those affected by mental illness.

Activities are planned and delivered by staff and participants. They include scheduled ongoing sessions such as: Healthy & Budget Cooking, Mind Body Life (weight management, exercise, and wellbeing), Art/Craft, Music, MI Views (healthy mind activities), MI Journey (activities in the community), Swimming, Games days, 10 Pin Bowling, Women’s & Men's Groups and relaxation.

MI Centre also accesses local sports & leisure facilities. MI Centre offers an opportunity for participants to be supported in identifying needs, setting goals and implementing strategies. Participants identify feeling as though they belong, and assist with the day to day running of the program.

Entry to MI Centre is open to all those affected by mental illness. This may be someone with a diagnosis, a family member, significant other, and/or friend.

MI Centre programs run from Monday to Friday 9.00am until 3.30pm (excluding public holidays.) MI Centre operates on 4 x 10 week pre-planned timetables that are designed with input from staff, participants, carers and external agencies. Activities are subject change within each 10 week timetable based on the current needs of participants.

Referral can be made as a self referral, by a family member, General Practitioner or other health professional. Some activities may incur a small cost.
