
Employment OpportunityService Coordination Project Coordinator (.5 EFT) GVPCP is looking for an experienced professional to join a small and innovative team. This role will focus on one of the four main deliverables of GVPCP, Service Coordination. The role will be based on the requirements of GVPCP 2009-12 Strategic Plan. The successful applicant must demonstrate a can do attitude, exceptional communication skills and demonstrate a high level capacity to assist in system and protocol development. Experience in either the Health, Welfare and social services sector would be high advantageous. Also a strong working knowledge of the Better Access to Service (2000) policy along with related documents would also be highly regarded. To promote the Website a poster has been developed (see below to down load a copy) that we hope can be displayed in as many places frequented by young people. Experiencing psychosis for the first time is usually very confusing; the poster and website are trying to highlight the help available and the benefits of accessing it. |

GVPCP Community Profile 2009The GVPCP Community Profile has recently been developed to enable member agencies to have access to local population health data to assist with planning, writing reports and funding submissions. The community profile includes data on demographics (education, unemployment, population, culture, language, safety, crime, transport etc), health status (burden of disease, life expectancy, risk factors, preventative activities etc) and community wellbeing (gambling, indicators of community strength).
